Flow Gently Sweet Afton

A beautiful melody written by American composer Jonathan E. Spilman using the poem “Sweet Afton” by the Scottish poet Robert Burns. It’s great for grades 4-6, and when sung with the piano accompaniment, it makes a lovely unison performance piece. Help teach the concept of fluid singing by having the kids transport glasses of water around the room! Recommended for Grades 4-6.
