Jingle Bells
Arguably the most popular and well-known Christmas song around, "Jingle Bells" was actually written for Thanksgiving! In 1857, James Lord Pierpont wrote the song to be sung at his church on Thanksgiving. It was so popular, they brought it back at Christmas time. Recommended for grades PreK-6.
